Summary
If you are using the Datepicker Extension and you purchased it before 15 May 2023 then it may be affected by some changes by Squarespace.
Squarespace have rolled out a new Form Block to all Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1 sites. This new Squarespace Form Block provides more features, particularly for international users, but is not compatible with extensions sold before 15 May 2023.
The Datepicker should continue to work with Custom Product Forms as Squarespace have not updated these yet. However, it will not function on Form Blocks, due to a number of significant changes that have been made by Squarespace.
We can provide a temporary solution for our customers,
allowing you to continue to use the Datepicker, at least for the time being. If you send us a support ticket and provide us with administrator access on your site (this guide explains how to do this) we’ll apply this workaround for you. When will a new Datepicker be available?
Squarespace have continued to rollout a number of changes to forms and so we're still developing and testing a new version of the Datepicker. We hope to make this available soon but we are unable to estimate a date. When the new datepicker is available, we'll offer a paid upgrade path for existing customers who do not have a support subscription.
Support subscription
We offer
monthly support subscriptions for our products, including the Datepicker.
Customers with a support subscription, who provided us with access to their site, should not experience any issues as a result of these Squarespace changes. Subscribers’ websites are automatically updated whenever updates become available. No additional effort is required.
