Summary
From 24 February 2025, Wishlist submissions may arrive without Product Links (URLs). This is due to an unintentional change by Squarespace.
All other product information is unaffected. Wishlist submissions contain Product Titles, Product SKUs, Variants (if a product has them), and Quantities. They may also include Product Prices, if you have enabled them.
What caused this issue?
This issue is the result of an update that Squarespace made to their platform on 24 February 2025. Their update unintentionally removed product hyperlinks from the Squarespace Cart, preventing them from being available to the Wishlist.
When will this be fixed?
Squarespace did not provide a timeframe for a resolution. Squarespace told us "I can confirm this was not an intentional change. We’re currently investigating an issue with product titles not being hyperlinked in the shopping cart. There are many variables that we test against before we release a fix, so we can’t provide an exact timeframe for a resolution. However, our engineers are prioritizing a fix for this."
Is there a workaround?
There isn't a workaround that will restore product hyperlinks. If a wishlist submission does not include Product Links (URLs), it is not possible to add them. However, whenever Squarespace restore product links, the latest version of the Wishlist will include them in your submissions.
