Wishlist - product links missing in wishlist submissions (Squarespace bug)


Summary

If you are receiving wishlist submissions without product links, this is due to a Squarespace platform-wide issue, first detected on 24 February 2025.

Since this is a bug within the Squarespace platform, it is beyond our immediate control. However, we have already reported the issue to Squarespace’s engineering team who have acknowledged the issue and are prioritising a fix. We will update this support guide as soon as Squarespace engineers resolve the problem.

What causes this issue?

This issue is the result of a fault within the Squarespace platform. While it affects the Wishlist, it is not caused by our product. We are actively monitoring the situation and waiting for Squarespace to provide a fix.

When will this be fixed?

Because this requires a fix from Squarespace’s engineering team, we are unable to provide a definitive timeframe for resolution. At 16:56 GMT on 27 February 2025, Squarespace told us "I can confirm that there is an issue on our end with...the cart page not being hyperlinked correctly. Our Engineering teams are prioritizing a fix for this as we speak. There are many variables that we test against before we release a fix, so we can’t provide an exact timeframe for a resolution."

Is there a workaround?
